Research
Present research in our department is focused on comparative immunology with special focus on innate immune reactions in invertebrates and the phylogeny of these processes. We also study fish neurophysiology, iron homeostasis of Drosophila melanogaster, comparative hematology and molecular biology of animal pathogenic fungi.
