The research foci at our sub-department are diverse. Thus, our research ranges from classical developmental biology, to aspects of speciation and development, molecular epigenetics and its role in mammalian development, behavioural genetics and epigenetics, and human brain function. The model systems that we are working with are the mouse placenta, dogs and foxes, and the murine and human brain.

Development & Genetics is a sub-department within the larger Department of Physiology and Developmental Biology at the Evolutionary Biology Centre of Uppsala University.
